Valentine's Day with my besties!

Awesome week!!
Highlight: Our friend Tumi got baptised!! WOOOO!!! Honestly, it was so much fun! Right from the get go, she has been taking notes and trying to learn as much as she can about Christ. She was so prepared and it was an amazing service! After, we went out to Nando's, classic :) I love Nandos!
We had a couple exchanges this week. I was with Sister Naef for a day. She is pretty new in the mission, but she is amazing! We met a lot of cool people and taught Tumi about the temple. Tumi is hoping to go to the temple in April!

I got to exchange with Sister Cheketts and Sister Garner as well. Man, I love them both so much! It was Valentine's day, so we got ice cream for dinner. Duh. Why not?! haha

I was also in East Kilbride for the day with Sister Dahl.It was so fun to catch-up! We haven't served around each other for a while, so we had some good craic talking to loads of people.

I got to have an interview with President this week. We have them every 6 weeks now.  I love that man so much! He is so amazing and we got to catch up on a lot. Love it!

This next week we go to Dublin.WOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I love that city so much! We'll be there for 2 days on exchanges, then we go to Limerick for a day as well. It'll be loads of fun to be back on the emerald isle.

I got to study about pride this week. Pride is literally the worst, it leads to everything evil. On the flip side then, humility is the answer to everything. None of us are perfect, everyone has a bit of pride, but it should be a goal to develop as much true humility as possible. Easier said than done, but it's a constant goal we can each have.
Oh, last p-day. Wow. We went to the museum!!!!! It was awesome and we had so much fun! We ran around like little kids and played with all the cool exhibits and took dope pictures and ya, it was awesome!

Hope you all have a nice week, thanks for everything!

It Snowed in the Burgh and Only in Scotland!

SNOW!!
Only in Scotland!!
Last Monday, we had a bomb day of frisbee and rugby! It was so so muddy outside, it was a mess! We were all sliding all over the place, but man, it was so fun to get out and be active/make a fool of myself!
Mud!

We had a couple exchanges this week. I got to spend the day with Sister Esplin, my MTC companion! We had such a good day, we got so much work done and had a good time catching up. I also got to exchange with Sister Sams, another on of my old companions! It's so amazing seeing the progress she's made since the beginning of her mission, she is a beast missionary!
Early flight to Ireland

On Saturday, we drove to Dunfermline for an exchange. I was with Sister Coons. We got to reminisce on the Dublin days and we talked to tons of people! Get this though. It was dinner time, and there was literally no where open to eat. Nowhere...but 1 posh restaurant. So we went into this posh Italian place. We looked at the menu and saw we could get a pasta for only £6! So we went for it. We told them we had to be in and out in an hour. I got Mussel Linguine. Literally, poshest meal on my mission for only £6. It was amazing!!!! We made it out of there in 45 minutes. It was hilarious! All the other people in there were on Valentine's Dates and dressed to the nines, and Sister Coons and I were soaking wet and exhausted, just laughing at everything. It was so fun!

Our friend Tumi is getting baptised on Wednesday! She is a boss, she takes notes in lessons and is so prepared!

Sister Paxman and I are continuing to have so much fun. It started snowing the other day, and I started flippin out because I was sure it was going to stick. It didn't. BUT whatever, it was fun to run around in the snow!
MTC friends mark 1 year!

Meetings on Meetings on Meetings!

Crazy week! We had so many conferences, I'll start at the top and work through it all.

Tuesday, the new missionaries arrived! We gave a couple instructions to the trainers and got to meet all the newbies. They all seem so solid and the trainers are such bosses! It was sad to see some of our friends go home, they really became family!

Wednesday, was an All-Ireland Conference! Oh my days, I love that island. Elder Johnson of the seventy came to talk to us. After he spoke, his wife and President and Sister Donaldson instructed us. I got to see a bunch of my friends, some church members from Dublin helped serve lunch! It was soooooo good to see them!

We flew back to Edinburgh for the All-Scotland conference on Thursday. That was a much bigger and totally different meeting. It's so cool how different topics are brought up depending on what the missionaries need to hear!

Friday was MLC. One more meeting… haha. We talked a lot about the new schedule and how we can best apply it to our mission. It was a really good meeting, lots of great comments.

This next week we have a couple exchanges, so I'll be sure to have some fun stories.

We have this really cool friend named Tumi, from South Africa! She is super excited for her baptism on the 15th, I'll let you know how it goes. She is so awesome, we have become good friends!

That's all from me, hope you all have an awesome week!!! Love ya!

The calm before the storm

Last Monday we climbed Arthur's Seat and took some amazing pictures! It was so much fun, Scotland is really pretty! Not as green as Ireland, but the buildings and landscape look so cool!
This week we talked to a lot of people on the streets. We met some cool ones and some not as cool ones, and we had so much fun doing it! Just having mini dance parties and laughing at literally everything, it's so fun!

We saw lots of miracles this week, mainly about food. We were pretty much out of money and out of food, but then someone would  randomly call or text and ask, "hey do you want to come for dinner?" Um, yes. Heavenly Father's blessings are so real.

Moves call was this week, so we're helping all the missionaries move to their new areas. It's good craic to be able to see everyone.

THE STORM....next week is going to be awesome. All the new missionaries arrive Tuesday and we have training meetings. Wednesday, we fly out to Dublin for the All-Ireland conference! WOOOO!! I flippin love that city :) We'll fly back that night, because Thursday is the All-Scotland conference! Then Friday is the missionary leadership council. It is going to be a packed week. I am so excited!

I am serving with my some of my best friends, it is awesome! Sister Paxman, Elder Tullis and Elder Jones. We have so much fun, they make the hard times bearable.
Well that's about all. I love Edinburgh, we spend a lot of time at the Uni. It's such a cool looking city. I am so happy to be here!

Love you all, thanks for everything!
